Consultants of Kidney Disease is a Nephrology practice providing state-of-the-art kidney care to Dallas and the surrounding areas. Our physicians, Muzzaffar Hussain, MD and Syed M. Ali, MD, have several years of clinical experience and are experts in managing various kidney disorders and hypertension. Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and will ensure that your visit with us is smooth.
We have several office locations and serve several hospitals and dialysis centers in North Texas. With CKD offices located in Dallas, North Dallas, Rowlett and Mesquite, specialized kidney care is available close to you.

Experienced physicians, an easy referral process, educational programs for patients, timely appointments and better communication with other members of your health care team.
We treat all stages of chronic kidney disease, these are usually caused due to diabetes and hypertension. Our goal is to prevent further progression of chronic kidney disease.
We treat patients at dialysis centers in and around the Dallas area. We have facilities for peritoneal dialysis and home dialysis as well.
Cystic diseases of the kidney
Polycystic is a genetic disorder that causes may fluid filled cysts to grow inside of the kidneys. Acquired cystic kidney disease happens over a period of time and many cysts develop in the kidneys.
We care for patients after their transplant to maximize the kidney function and protect the kidney that has been transplanted.
We provide a metabolic work-up for recurrent kidney stones to prevent further pain and reduce risk of bleeding, infection or blockage in the urinary tract.
Acute kidney injury
Injury to the kidneys develop rapidly, these can come from many sources. We find the cause of the injury and provide intensive treatment to reverse the kidney damage.
